Assembler - 1st Shift

Role Overview

As an Assembler at S&C Electric, you'll work on projects that have real-world impact, helping to transform the grid for resilient and reliable power worldwide. What You Will Do

You'll assemble VISTA units and corresponding subassemblies, working in a production environment and meeting requirements within time constraints. You'll use hand and power tools, and occasionally work while standing on ladders or inside tight compartments.

Why It Might Be a Fit

This role requires a high degree of eye-hand coordination, manual dexterity, and the use of both hands and arms on a repetitive basis. You'll need to be flexible and open to working additional stations as business needs require.

Requirements

• High School/GED diploma required
• Demonstrated knowledge of mechanical operations
• Demonstrated ability to use basic shop math and measurement tools such as tape measures
• Ability to follow standard work instructions, assembly drawings, and specifications
• Knowledge and ability to use air impact tools and other hand-held tools
