Forklift Operator

Role Overview

Forklift Operators are responsible for loading, unloading, sorting, staging and transporting products into and out of a warehouse. They must work cooperatively with other associates and productively with little supervision. Following company safety policies and procedures is of great importance to this position.

What You Will Do

Operate a forklift safely and efficiently, load and unload trailers, railcars, and order picking, check product for accuracy and damage, perform daily maintenance inspections, and work cooperatively with other warehouse associates.

Why It Might Be a Fit

We need individuals who can work cooperatively with others, follow safety policies, and perform physically exerting tasks in a warehouse environment. Experience with RF equipment, warehouse experience in a high-volume environment, and familiarity with order management systems are helpful but not required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 18 years of age or older
• 1-year experience operating a forklift
• Ability to move and/or lift up to 50 pounds
• Pass a pre-employment drug screening and background investigation
