Job Description
Safe Place for Youth (SPY) is a leading provider of youth services in West Los Angeles, offering trauma-informed, low-barrier programs and comprehensive support for youth experiencing or at-risk of homelessness. They are seeking a Clinical Supervisor to oversee and develop clinical programs, provide counseling, supervise staff, and manage the program's financial and programmatic aspects. This role requires a perceptive, proactive individual with sensitivity to employee and organizational needs.
Requirements
- Masterâs degree in Social Work and active LCSW license in California
- 3+ years experience providing clinical services and/or advocacy
- Strong clinical and leadership skills
- Supervisory experience
- Advanced knowledge of trauma-informed and harm reduction service models
- Knowledge of resources for youth experiencing and/or at-risk of homelessness
- Commitment to restorative justice, anti-racist, and inclusive practices
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Ability to manage and support clinical and nonclinical positions effectively
- Ability to foster a culture of learning when providing clinical guidance and crisis management
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
