Shelter Supervisor

The Shelter Supervisor oversees daily operations of a 24-hour, 60-bed interim housing program for transitional age youth, ensuring resident and staff safety, supervising team members, supporting case management, and maintaining program compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology or related field is preferred (lived experience or related work experience is strongly considered)
• 3-4 years of experience providing direct services to high-risk transitional age youth (TAY) is required.
• 3-4 years of experience accessing social services (homeless services, DCFS, probations, DPSS, etc.)
• Demonstrated Knowledge of best practice models including: Housing First, Positive Youth Development, Authentic Youth Engagement, Motivational Interviewing, Harm Reduction, Trauma-Informed Care, Critical Time Intervention.
