Job Description
We're seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with experience in power generation and distribution to lead multiple projects and work with internal and external teams. The ideal candidate will have business development acumen, technical expertise, and excellent communication and leadership skills.
Requirements
- Experience in developing electrical design packages from conceptual to IFC level for power generation and distribution
- In-depth understanding of design limitations and routing of conduit, cable tray, and trench duct
- Experience with coordinating with vendor packagers and developing cost-effective design solutions
- ETAP or SKM modelling experience and understanding of systems coordination, arc flash, grounding, and Neher-McGrath
- Strong familiarity with IEEE, UL, NEMA, NFPA standards for renewables, harmonics, generation, energy storage, hazardous area, and industrial systems
- Ability to effectively communicate with architects, owners, and contractors
- Support other engineers with research and recommendations of new technologies and methodologies
- Mentorship and training of other engineers
- Excellent organization and time management skills
