Job Description
We're seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Richmond, VA. As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you'll design building systems, produce construction documentation, and lead project teams. You'll work on institutional projects in higher education, government, and institutional facility markets. We're looking for a highly motivated engineer with excellent communication skills and the ability to lead a team.
Requirements
- Design HVAC systems
- Develop mechanical system design calculations
- Prepare detailed design documents in REVIT
- Perform QA/QC design work
- Lead a project team and managing projects
- Coordinate with Owners and Architects
- Coordinate work with other disciplines
- Complete code compliance research
- Oversee and provide guidance to junior engineers
- Assist in the procurement of new work; including the development of client relations
