Job Description
As a Controls Engineer II at Samuel Automation, you'll design and develop custom control systems for automated manufacturing systems. Responsibilities include developing control system designs, integrating hardware and software components, debugging and commissioning software, collaborating with stakeholders, and mentoring junior team members. The role requires a strong understanding of control systems and automation principles.
Requirements
- Designs and develops control systems and software programs.
- Selects and integrates hardware and software components.
- Debugs and commissions software programs.
- Performs engineering calculations.
- Formulates and produces a complete electrical design package.
- Mentors junior designers and supports the build phase.
- Travels to customer and supplier sites for installation and commissioning.
- Consults with Project Managers.
- Demonstrates good communication skills.
