Shipper/Receiver

The Shipper/Receiver is responsible for receiving materials from internal and external vendors, performing quality control functions, and operating equipment such as forklifts and cranes. The role requires excellent customer service skills, ability to work independently, and basic computer skills.

Requirements

• 1 year of previous experience in logistics, warehouse, shipping and receiving, or manufacturing operations
• Ability to read and write English, follow verbal instructions and use simple math
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work independently
• Good organizational skills with the ability to handle pressures of deadlines and high work volumes
• Ability to problem solve, prioritize work and switch directions as needed based on business demands
• Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods and performing physical tasks in a warehouse or yard environment
• Basic computer skills for data entry, inventory management software, and email communication
• Flexibility to work overtime when required
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
