Cleaning General Assistant

Sanctuary Supported Living is seeking a part-time Cleaner to maintain the cleanliness of communal areas, offices, and the kitchen at St Bartholomew’s Court, Playden. This role offers a chance to contribute to a national organisation committed to delivering personalised housing, care and support services to help people live independently. It includes duties like general cleaning, safety monitoring, and supporting customers.

Requirements

• Undertaking general duties as assigned
• Ensuring all cleaning duties are completed to a high standard
• Identifying and reporting potential faults and hazards on site
• Maintaining stock levels, restocking, and ensuring equipment use
• Helping to prepare meals and drinks
• Ensuring customer privacy and dignity are maintained
• Working knowledge of general cleaning duties is desirable
• Some experience of working in a domestic/catering environment
• Good interpersonal and customer service skills
• Level 2 diploma in housekeeping/catering, or willing to work towards
• General understanding of health and safety
