
Job description
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides professional nursing care for residents of all ages in long term care, under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician.
Demonstrates knowledge of nursing principles, performs testing to evaluate resident status, administers medications or treatments as ordered, and documents resident interactions.
Requires a graduate from an accredited practical nursing program, an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license, and completion of required department specific competencies and certifications.
