Role Overview

You will be involved in nuclear power plant systems design, including preparation or review of modification packages, functional mechanical drawings, engineering analyses, technical specifications, and vendor bid evaluations. You will also have the opportunity to develop engineering cost estimates, visit client office and/or plant site locations, and lead engineering project teams.

This position requires a BSME with emphasis in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering, a minimum of 10 years of experience in the power industry, and working knowledge of codes, standards, and regulations that apply to mechanical engineering design of power plants.

Requirements

• BSME with emphasis in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering from a Canadian Engineering Accreditation Board-accredited undergraduate program or a US based ABET-accredited program
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in the power industry
• Working knowledge of codes, standards, and regulations that apply to mechanical engineering design of power plants
