SBP is a nonprofit organization dedicated to accelerating disaster recovery for under‑resourced communities in the Gulf South and beyond. The organization focuses on rebuilding homes, restoring livelihoods, and strengthening community resilience while engaging donors and volunteers through targeted fundraising and stewardship initiatives.
SBP is seeking passionate individuals to join their Service-Minded AmeriCorps team to address social justice and sustainability issues surrounding climate change and natural disasters. The program provides opportunities to help rebuild homes, repair lives, and strengthen families in the aftermath of a disaster. Participants can choose to contribute directly to disaster relief efforts or support recovery in their communities as a Project Lead, Disaster Corps Project Lead, Supply & Logistics Coordinator, Volunteer Coordinator, Client Services Coordinator, or FEMA Appeals Client Service Coordinator. This is a year-long gap opportunity with a stipend and benefits.
