Job Description
Sceye is seeking a Thermal Engineer to join our Avionics Hardware (HW) team. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with electrical, mechanical, systems, and flight operations teams to ensure avionics performance, reliability, and safety across all mission phases.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in thermal engineering, preferably within aerospace, avionics, or high-reliability electronics
- Strong understanding of heat transfer principles (conduction, convection, radiation)
- Experience performing thermal analysis of electronic hardware and assemblies
- Familiarity with thermal modeling and analysis tools (e.g., Thermal Desktop, SINDA/FLUINT, ANSYS, COMSOL, or equivalent)
- Experience supporting environmental testing and correlating test data to analysis
- Ability to work cross-functionally with electrical, mechanical, and systems engineers
- Strong documentation, communication, and presentation skills
