Job Description
This is an entry-level position in the pest control trade, responsible for performing structural pest control and extermination work for the School District of Philadelphia. The employee will inspect facilities, identify pests, and determine the most appropriate strategy for pest control using chemical and non-chemical methods.
Requirements
- Possession of a valid Restricted Use Pesticide (RUP) license as issued by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania – Department of Agriculture with Category 11 at time of appointment and during tenure of appointment.
- Possession of a proper class license valid to operate a motor vehicle in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania prior to and during tenure of appointment.
- Three years of experience learning and performing pest control work.
- Education equivalent to the completion of the twelfth school grade.
