Software Engineer - Python Backend

Design, deliver, and own backend services that keep our core running. Work with a tightly knit and small DevOps team to deliver business value using modern cloud technologies and a DevOps way of working.

Requirements

• Expert-level Python skills with a solid understanding of architectural patterns
• Experience with FastAPI and SQLModel
• RESTful API design and system integrations experience
• AWS security, performance, and reliability best practices
• AWS CDK and infrastructure-as-code experience
• GitHub Actions for CI/CD pipelines experience
• Writing production-ready, testable, and maintainable backend code
• Strong understanding of security practices and cloud architecture principles
• Ability to take ownership of code from development through deployment and operations
• Affinity for mentoring mid-level developers in a self-steering context
• Fluency in English
