Job Description
This role is for a Team Lead in Casualty lines, focusing on defining and optimizing the accumulation process, risk selection, and control. The lead will support underwriters with Casualty exposure data, contribute to P&C Capital Modelling Tool updates, and ensure robust reporting and regulatory compliance. It requires expertise in Property and Casualty risk modelling and strong stakeholder interaction across insurance/underwriting/legal/claims.
Requirements
- Define scope of use and processes to support SCOR’s strategy and improve the performance of the casualty lines of business.
- Support underwriters during client visits as it relates to Casualty exposure data and Accumulation.
- Develop processes ranging from supporting the Global and Legal Entity accumulations of risks to monitoring against limits / capacities.
- Enhance, harmonize and maintain the tools and systems to support the risk accumulation process.
- Expertise in Property and Casualty risk modelling and aggregation, in particular US Casualty is essential.
- Significant internal interaction with stakeholders across many functional areas (underwriting/management, actuarial/reserving, legal, claims).
