The Senior Manager, Application Manager is responsible for the end-to-end ownership, stability, strategic evolution, and governance of a GCF application, ensuring reliability, security, and compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or other relevant discipline.
- 5-8+ years of progressive experience in application management, technology delivery, platform engineering, or similar roles.
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing application teams, complex systems, and mission-critical environments.
- Strong understanding of application lifecycle management, DevOps practices, cloud technologies, integration patterns, and enterprise architecture.
- Experience managing budgets and cross-functional initiatives.
- Certifications in Agile, ITIL, cloud (GCP/Azure), or project management (PMP/ACP) considered an asset
- Leadership with the ability to influence across functions and levels.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills suited for senior audiences
- Deep understanding of security, compliance, and regulatory environments for enterprise applications.
- Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on operational oversight.
