Data Engineer (dbt)

Role Overview

Join SDG Group, a 100% specialized global consulting firm in Data, Analytics, and Artificial Intelligence, as a Data Engineer (dbt). You will be part of a team developing and executing projects, collaborating in technical-functional definition, ETL, data modeling, visualization, and training. You will work with SQL databases, ETL tools, and cloud data warehouses, developing data ingestion and transformation processes, and collaborating in cloud architecture definition.

What You Will Do

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include working with SQL databases, modeling data with ETL tools, and cloud data warehouses. You will develop data ingestion and transformation processes from various sources, integrate into cloud solutions, and collaborate in cloud architecture definition. You will also attend meetings with clients, participate in internal and external training, and integrate into the SDG culture.

You will need advanced knowledge of Python, solid experience with dbt, and good handling of SQL and analytical data modeling. Requirements

• Studies in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, Data Science, Industrial, or a Higher Cycle
• At least 3 years of experience in data platforms
• Advanced knowledge of Python
• Solid experience with dbt
• Good handling of SQL and analytical data modeling
• Use of version control tools such as Git (GitHub/GitLab) and CI/CD flows for model deployment
• Experience working with data transformation processes (ETL/ELT) in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Microsoft)
• Analytical, communicative, and business-oriented skills
