Senior Data Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development and execution of projects assigned to a team, ensuring the fulfillment of all project phases, from requirements gathering to production deployment.

What You Will Do

You will be responsible for the development and execution of projects assigned to a team, including technical-functional definition, data ETL development, and data modeling. You will participate in the development of end-to-end data engineering solutions, from understanding the problem and business objectives to developing fully productive data systems.

Requirements

• Studies in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, Industrial Engineering, or having a Higher Cycle or similar
• Additional training in Big Data, cloud data architectures, or related disciplines
• At least 4 years of experience in a Data Engineer role
• Previous experience in consulting environments
• Communicative, analytical, and business-oriented skills
• Proactive and participative attitude
• Project management, teamwork, and adaptability to changing environments
• Solid knowledge in Data & Analytics technologies
• Experience in SQL and ETL technology developments
• Knowledge of data modeling and special relevance to adapting to cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google)
• Knowledge of one of the Data Cloud: Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, and/or Fabric
• Valuable experience in orchestration tools like Apache Airflow or similar
• Valuable knowledge of data integration tools like: dbt, Talend, etc.
• Valuable knowledge of code management methodologies
