Job description
The Database Administrator (DBA) will be responsible for managing and maintaining the CSSP's databases. This role involves ensuring the performance, availability, and security of databases. The DBA will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve issues to maximize the benefit of IT systems investments.
Install, configure, and maintain database servers and processes, monitor system health and performance to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security. Manage database backup and recovery, administer database security, create and maintain users and roles, and assign privileges.
This role requires a strong understanding of database management systems, database design and architecture, and database security. The ideal candidate will have experience with cloud-based database services, NoSQL databases, and data warehousing and business intelligence solutions.
