Job Description
Sentara Obici Hospital is hiring a Patient Advocate for a Full Time, Day shift position in Suffolk, VA. This is an on-site position that requires strong attention to detail and the ability to follow strict guidelines.
Requirements
- Maintains active interfaces between internal and external customers (patients, family, visitors, medical staff, risk management, etc.)
- Maintains data system of customer issues for use in identifying areas for improvement
- Protects the patient's rights
- Staff education to improve patient satisfaction
