Vehicle Electrical / Electronic Maintainer - Specialist (0840) - Rail Vehicles

The Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) is seeking an experienced electronic specialist to inspect, analyze, diagnose, rate, and repair rail vehicle systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electronic, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and auxiliary systems.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Formal education should include two-year technical school
• Demonstrated practical experience in electronics troubleshooting and repair to component level, schematic interpretation, diagnostic testing, circuit analysis, soldering skills, and the use of computer systems
• Must satisfactorily complete written qualification tests as follows: advanced electricity, basic math, hand tools, schematics
• Must possess valid driver's license
