Job Description
We are looking for a Special Education Teacher (Autism focus) to join our dynamic organization. The right candidate will enjoy learning new tasks and taking on a variety of responsibilities in an upbeat, nonprofit environment.
Requirements
- Administer national, state, and district assessments
- Develop/Write Individualized Education Plans
- Select, adapt and design learning materials, lesson plans, teaching strategies and activities
- Inform parents about their studentās performance and potential problems
- Complete all necessary paperwork to be in compliance with the state and district requirements
- Coach/mentor paraprofessionals and classroom assistants
- Collaborate with each studentās support team
- Foster and promote a cooperative working climate
