Job Description
Shums Coda Associates, Inc. is seeking full-time Building Inspectors II and III and part-time IC Inspectors for clients in Salt Lake, Davis, and Utah Counties in Utah.
Requirements
- Utah State License Required
- ICC certified (combination preferred)
- 1+ years of experience working as an inspector in a jurisdiction.
- Working knowledge of the International Building Code, International Residential Code, International Mechanical Code, International Plumbing Code, and the National Electrical Code;
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
- Ability to detect hazards and violations and recommend corrective measures during field inspection work;
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing;
- Must have a high school diploma; some college is highly desirable.
- Must have a valid Driver License.
- Must successfully complete standard background investigation.
