Role Overview

Join SimCorp as a Lead/Sr. Backend Software Engineer to contribute to the evolution of financial technology. You will work with a team to develop new core functionality for SimCorp Dimension, a modern, cloud-based SaaS platform on Microsoft Azure. The role is critical to delivering a scalable, flexible, and cost-efficient solution that meets growing client and market expectations.

Develop new core functionality for SimCorp Dimension, increase compute density, and make efficient use of Microsoft Azure's resources. Implement architectural design decisions, ensure technical integrity, and maintain high coding standards.

Requirements

• Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Data Science or similar
• More than 5 years of experience working in software engineering
• Solid programming experience in C#
• Knowledge in SQL, Cloud Infrastructure and Oracle
• Experience in Cloud Infrastructure, DevOps Tools and Parallel Programming
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure in production environments
• Experience with working in an agile way and a continuous improvement mindset
• Experience working in an international setting with people from many different cultures
• Positive and constructive approach
• Initiative-driven, organized, and improvement-focused
• Effective communication skills and fluency in English (spoken and written)
• Experience with Agentic AI
