Staff Software Engineer

SimpliSafe is hiring a Staff Software Engineer to lead system-level validation strategy and architect scalable validation frameworks. The role requires a strong software architecture and system design experience across distributed and stateful systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 8–10+ years of experience in software development, system validation, or automated testing for distributed or embedded systems
• Strong software architecture and system design experience across distributed and stateful systems
• Advanced programming expertise (Python preferred) with strong object-oriented design principles
• Proven ability to lead technical initiatives, mentor engineers, and influence cross-team engineering direction
