Equipment Operator

Sims Metal is seeking an Equipment Operator to operate various material handling vehicles (grapple/magnet, front loader, skid steer, forklift) to assist customers and load trailers, and to inspect incoming materials. The role involves performing regular maintenance, upholding safety standards, and supporting a sustainable operational approach within a growing, responsible company focused on the circular economy and employee wellbeing.

Requirements

• Operate material handler (grapple/magnet), front end loader, skid steer, or forklift to assist unloading customers and load trailers.
• Inspect incoming material and grades accordingly.
• Perform & maintain general housekeeping.
• Other duties as assigned.
