Assistant Audit Manager - Assistant Vice President (f/m/d)

United by a customer-centric approach, SMBC is seeking an Assistant Audit Manager (f/m/d) to contribute to the assurance and financial reporting of its EMEA business. This role involves preparing audit work papers, documenting sampling methodology, drafting audit control recommendations, and providing support to the Audit Department. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of risk management and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Educated to degree standard and holder of a professional qualification (e.g., CIA, ACCA, etc.)
• Strong numerical and financial skills
• Understanding of the regulatory environment
• Operational knowledge of the Bank's business
• Attention to detail
• Ability to advise the business on control solutions
• Prior experience in internal audit (desirable)
