VP, Macro Sales, Global Markets & Treasury Asia Pacific

SMBC is seeking a VP of Macro Sales, Global Markets & Treasury Asia Pacific to develop investor sales franchise in Asia ex-Japan, fostering stronger relationships with institutional clients and expanding revenue through new market opportunities. The role involves client servicing, market opportunity identification, and maintaining compliance with regulations.

Requirements

• Good bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, commerce, or engineering.
• Min. 7 years’ experience in EM Macro/Interest Rate/Fixed Income/FX/FX option or Commodity Derivatives (sales / structuring) with experience covering institutional clients.
• Proven track record of establishing lasting client relationships.
• Ability to run client presentations and influence stakeholders.
• Strong sense of ethics and a good understanding of compliance.
