Job description
As a Database Administrator at SMS, you will design and deploy database architecture and systems infrastructure for military IT systems. You will create strategies for performing repetitive tasks, provide IT support, and lead efforts in performance tuning and optimization.
Design and deploy database architecture, create strategies for repetitive tasks, provide IT support, lead performance tuning and optimization, create documentation, perform routine scheduled database maintenance, work with database vendors, and provide general networking support.
You will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic systems integrator, apply service-oriented security architecture principles, and demonstrate an understanding of installation of Microsoft Windows Server, storage solutions, and network connectivity.
