
Job description
We seek a Senior Engineer in Observability to help define and build the next generation of AI powered observability for Snowflake’s global data platform. This role sits at the intersection of large scale distributed systems, telemetry pipelines, and machine intelligence.
Design and build large scale telemetry pipelines, architect AI driven observability systems, partner with Snowflake teams, define standards for instrumentation, tracing, and telemetry, build tools and platforms, optimize observability systems, mentor engineers, and stay at the forefront of industry trends.
Ideal candidate has 7+ years of experience in software engineering with a strong focus on distributed systems, deep experience building and operating large scale cloud services, strong programming skills, solid understanding of system performance, debugging, and reliability engineering principles, experience with cloud platforms, and proven ability to lead complex technical projects.
