Lead Software Engineer

Solera is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to ensure the reliability, availability, performance, and security of on-prem infrastructure and.NET-based fleet management applications. This role requires a blend of operational excellence with strong automation, observability, and incident-response capabilities.

Requirements

• Ensure high availability, scalability, and resilience of production services
• Run and maintain production environments
• Define, implement, and monitor SLIs/SLOs/SLAs
• Build and maintain software systems to automate the management of platform infrastructure
• Measure, analyse, and optimise system performance
• Own incident management
• Design and maintain monitoring, logging, and observability frameworks
• Develop and enhance automation, CI/CD pipelines
• Manage and operate on-prem infrastructure
• Implement security and compliance best practices
• Perform capacity planning and performance tuning
• Provide primary operational support for large-scale distributed.NET applications
• Maintain detailed documentation on architecture, operational processes, incident playbooks, and system runbooks
