Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Cloud Engineer to support and enhance our Azure GovCloud environments. This role requires a hands-on technical mindset and the ability to collaborate closely with the Lead Cloud Engineer and other stakeholders.
Requirements
- Deploy and maintain infrastructure with Terraform, ARM templates, and Azure CLI.
- Build and maintain Azure DevOps and GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
- Apply monthly patches to NIPR/SIPR VMs and monitor Azure workloads, responding to alerts and remediating vulnerabilities.
- Manage Azure Virtual Desktop, API Management, Application Gateway, and Blob/File storage.
- Support Microsoft Defender for Cloud, ACAS, and STIG scanning, and help keep the Tenant Security score and compliance docs up to date.
- Draft and update SOPs, runbooks, and environment checklists, and contribute to weekly infrastructure briefs and stakeholder reports.
- Work with the Lead Cloud Engineer on architecture reviews and coordinate with application owners, security teams, and auditors.
