Software Engineer II

Sony Interactive Entertainment is seeking a Software Engineer II to join their backend team supporting PlayStation's GraphQL platform. The role involves developing scalable services using Node.js and TypeScript, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing feedback through RFCs and code reviews.

Requirements

• Contribute to the development of backend systems that power the PlayStation platform
• Work closely with engineers from our client and other backend teams
• Build and maintain scalable services using Node.js and TypeScript/JavaScript
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues
• Provide feedback through RFCs, architecture reviews, and code reviews
• Monitor systems through Grafana and DataDog dashboards
• Create and maintain technical documentation
• Continuously learn and grow
