Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced and agile Trusts & Estates Paralegal to join our team in New York. This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has deep experience in all phases of estate and trust administration, and can seamlessly support multiple attorneys with varying needs and personalities.
Requirements
- Handle probate and estate administration from start to finish
- Prepare IRS Form 706 and NY Form ET-706, and coordinate supporting documentation
- Draft legal documents such as Receipts and Releases, LLC formation documents, and deeds
- Communicate with clients regarding estate matters
- Order and compile date-of-death valuations for various estate assets
- Manage and prioritize constant requests from multiple attorneys
- Support ongoing tasks with professionalism, discretion, and a client-service mindset
