Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking Nurse Practitioners to work as members of the interprofessional primary care team, providing medical examinations, diagnoses, treatment, and health education to clients. Previous experience working with culturally diverse and marginalized populations is an asset.

Requirements

• Baccalaureate in Nursing and Diploma/Master of Nursing (Nurse Practitioner)
• Registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario – Extended class
• Minimum two years’ experience as a nurse practitioner in a community or primary care setting
• Strong clinical skills and diagnostic abilities
• Ability to work independently and be self-directed
• Effective organizational, critical thinking, problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication skills and ability to adapt communication styles
• Fluency in English is required
• Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends
• Police Record Check for the Vulnerable Sector required
