Job Description
The Registered Nurse Home Care VNA provides nursing care to patients in the community setting, completing weekly schedules and making scheduled home visits. The nurse assesses patients and develops individualized plans of care, updating them as needed. They also administer and document medications, manage cases, and foster a culture of safety.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from a college/university accredited by the NLN (preferred)
- Minimum 1-2 years of medical/surgical nursing experience (preferred)
- Write, speak, understand English
- Basic Nursing competencies
