Procurement Manager

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to join an established procurement team and help drive procurement excellence across the organisation.

Requirements

• MCIPS Level 4 or above (or working towards with commitment to CPD)
• Degree level education or significant relevant professional experience
• Significant procurement experience, including within the Public Sector
• Experience working cross-functionally within complex organisations
• Experience leading procurement programmes and projects
• Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills, particularly Excel
• Experience using e-Procurement / ERP systems and Contract Management Systems
• Knowledge and understanding of current public sector procurement regulations and legislation
• Proven ability to manage stakeholder expectations at all organisational levels
• Strong commercial awareness and project management capability
• Skilled negotiator with the ability to influence in complex or challenging environments
• Strong analytical capability with the ability to interpret and present complex data
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven success in building and maintaining strategic stakeholder relationships
• Highly organised with strong planning and deadline management skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrates integrity, adaptability and a commitment to continuous improvement
