Job Description
The Overhead Crane Operator is responsible for operating overhead cranes to lift, move, and position heavy materials and products in factories. This role requires a focus on safety, precision, and efficiency to ensure the proper handling and transportation of materials while minimizing risks.
Requirements
- Certified Crane Operator license
- Certification in rigging or material handling (plus)
- High communication skills
- Minimum 5 years experience in loading and logistics
- Proficiency in operating overhead cranes, hoists, and related tools
- Strong understanding of load capacities, weight distribution, and lifting techniques
- Ability to train and mentor new staff and apprentices
