Laboratory Intern – 2nd Shift (On-Call Weekends)

SPL is searching for a motivated and enthusiastic Laboratory Intern to join their energy laboratory team in Houston, TX. The intern will gain hands-on experience supporting departmental operations and contributing to operational efficiency, quality standards, and client satisfaction.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; must be pursuing a degree in Chemistry, Biology, Industrial Technology, or related field
• Prior internship, academic research, laboratory, or practical experience preferred but not required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and general computer applications
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures
• Ability to learn quickly and work effectively both independently and as part of a team
