Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Plant Maintenance Technician to join our team at SRM Concrete. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance within an industrial environment, with specific skills in electrical systems, plumbing, and welding.
Requirements
- Conduct routine inspections of plant equipment and systems
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks according to a scheduled plan
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues
- Utilize welding skills to fabricate, repair, or reinforce plant structures and equipment
- Collaborate with plant management to prioritize maintenance tasks
- Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs
- Stay up-to-date with the latest maintenance techniques and safety protocols
- Work closely with external contractors and specialists for complex repairs or installations
- Provide support to the plant safety team by identifying potential hazards and implementing corrective actions
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in maintenance, safety, and plant operations
