Job Description
The Medical Assistant II performs clinical tasks and procedures to support the delivery of care. The position requires the ability to independently apply knowledge to perform work and prioritize tasks. The Medical Assistant II is responsible for assisting patients to obtain services in a timely manner and assuring efficient utilization of resources in the coordination of patient care.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Medical Assistant Certificate/Diploma from an approved school/institution or equivalent documented training
- One (1) to three (3) years of related experience
- Current American Heart Association Certification for Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers
