Intermediate/Senior Electrical Technologist

Join Stantec's multidisciplinary team as an Electrical Technologist to work on projects ranging in size and complexity, with a focus on municipal, federal, industrial, healthcare, commercial and educational projects. The role involves assisting in the design of building related electrical systems, preparing contract drawings, and reviewing equipment selections.

Requirements

• Assist in the design of building related electrical systems
• Prepare contract drawings, schematics, schedules, details, and sketches
• Produce aspects of electrical design and drawings in REVIT MEP and AutoCAD
• Review equipment selections and perform preliminary engineering calculations
• Facilitate and ensure the quality of project deliverables
• Follow production guidelines and project standards
• Review shop drawings and contractor submittals
• Perform field surveys and communicate with team members
