Requirements
- Lead work on multiple projects with a team of design colleagues
- Supervise staff of all levels to develop skills and abilities
- Lead client meetings to establish design criteria and review design progress
- Evaluate and select electrical engineered systems and products
- Prepare and coordinate project specifications and construction documents
- Develop design through sketches, engineering calculations, and visual formats
- Conduct quality assurance and quality control on own projects and projects of peers
- Develop new standards and specifications for the electrical engineering group
- Perform field work to review existing facility conditions and review work performed by contractors
- Apply technical expertise to meet project requirements within established timeframes and budget
- Provide client consultation and support new project proposals
- Nurture existing client relationships and pursue new business opportunities
