Job Description
Stantec's Buildings team is seeking a Structural Engineer to work independently on small projects and as a team member of larger projects under the guidance of a Senior Structural Engineer. The Structural Engineer will evaluate, select, and specify engineered systems or products for a project and perform calculations and drawings, lead junior engineers, and communicate with design teams and Owner clients.
Requirements
- Requisite knowledge and application of structural design codes, standards, and applicable building codes
- Strong knowledge of structural systems, seismic design, construction means and methods, materials, and industry standards
- Ability to communicate both verbally and in written form concepts and ideas to a diverse audience of Architects, Engineers, and Owner clients effectively
