Mid-Level Systems Administrator

Role Overview

Torch Technologies is seeking a Mid-Level Systems Administrator to support our Air & Missile Defense Business Unit. The team provides research, development, and engineering services to the Federal Government and Department of War. The successful candidate will work in a hybrid environment, supporting systems and users, and providing technical support for hardware, software, and networks.

What You Will Do

Configure and maintain computer systems, manage virtual environments, perform system maintenance, develop and implement scripts, and provide deep-dive technical support for complex bottlenecks.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, including Linux and Windows, virtualization, and scripting. They will also have experience with automation and troubleshooting, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment with occasional off-hours support.

Requirements

• US Citizenship
• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 6+ years of related systems administration experience
• Active Secret Security Clearance
• Security+ and a technical certification (e.g., Linux+, MCSE)
