Model Based System Engineer

Role Overview

Torch Technologies is seeking a Model-Based Systems Engineer to support customers at the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC). The team provides research, development, and engineering services to the Federal Government and Department of War. The position involves performing requirements analysis, decomposition, and traceability for complex systems, developing and maintaining system architectures, and conducting system-level testing and verification.

What You Will Do

Perform requirements analysis, decomposition, and traceability for complex systems. Develop and maintain system architectures, designs, and interface control documents. Conduct system-level testing, verification, and validation activities.

Requirements

• US Citizenship
• Bachelor's Degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
• 6-10+ years of experience in systems engineering
• Familiarity with systems engineering processes (e.g., requirements management, architecture definition, verification and validation)
• Experience with systems engineering tools (e.g., DOORS, Cameo Systems Modeler, Enterprise Architect)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience with SysML modeling, tools, and techniques
• Experience with AFSIM is a plus
• Must have an active Top Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain an SCI
