Wet Lab Operator

Role Overview

This position will work under minimal supervision in the cleaning & plating room, handling assemblies and chemicals while wearing PPE. The Wet Lab Operator will perform routine chemical cleaning, electroplate components, and inspect plating thickness. The role requires good mechanical aptitude, organizational skills, and ability to follow instructions.

What You Will Do

Perform routine chemical cleaning, electroplate components, inspect plating thickness, replenish chemicals, document work activities, maintain work area, and coordinate with other staff.

Why It Might Be a Fit

Prior experience with industrial chemicals is preferred, and post-secondary coursework in chemistry is desired. The role requires good mathematical calculations, mechanical aptitude, and organizational skills.

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Prior experience with industrial chemicals
• Post-secondary coursework in chemistry
• Able to perform mathematical calculations
• Good mechanical aptitude and dexterity
• Good organizational skills
• Able to read mechanical drawings / blueprints
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs
