Senior Transmission & Driveline Design and Release Engineer

Role Overview

Manage the entire life cycle of components and sub-assemblies, including defining requirements, conceptual design, supplier sourcing, manufacturing, validation, and industrialization. Lead technical teams within a department for key components, subsystems, and systems.

What You Will Do

Define requirements, conceptual design, supplier sourcing, manufacturing, validation, and industrialization of components and sub-assemblies. Lead technical teams and present to executive leadership teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 5+ years of experience in propulsion systems, automatic transmissions, driveline systems, or related field
• 5+ years of design and release experience in related COE components
• Experience and knowledge of automatic transmissions, driveline systems, or electric drive units operation and function
• Previous experience as a DRE in OEM and tier 1 suppliers to OEMs
• Proficiency in GD&T, creating drawings of components, and virtual analysis
• Strong interpersonal communication and team leadership skills
• Ability to travel globally
