Job Description
The Nurse Practitioner will be required to do consults and follow-ups with hematology and oncology patients, and oversee chemotherapy infusion, injection, and oral medication. They will be expected to perform oncological procedures as needed.
Requirements
- NYS Licensed Nurse Practitioner
- 5+ years' experience in Medical Oncology
- Experience in a clinical setting preferred
- Medical Marijuana certification preferred, or willingness to obtain
- Ability to effectively interrelate with all members of the healthcare team
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Clinical expertise and evaluation skills
- Current BLS & ACLS provider certification from the American Heart Association required
